OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathy is a discipline that focuses on the diagnosis, assessment, and comprehensive treatment of the body. Its goal is to restore body balance through manual therapy techniques. Osteopathy aims to restore the mobility of various structures such as bones, ligaments, muscles, and connective tissue, relieving tensions and providing appropriate blood circulation to nourish tissues and promote the right function of the nervous system. In this way, it enhances the body’s natural mechanisms of self-healing and self-regulation.

Osteopathy focuses on identifying, treating, and preventing injuries and dysfunctions by addressing the underlying causes. These causes may seem apparently not related to the symptoms of concern us and can range from biomechanical imbalances to the consequences of accidents or disruptions in the nervous and metabolic systems. For our body to function optimally, it’s essential that all structures move properly. Osteopathic techniques improve tissue mobility, blood flow, and release compression on the nervous system. When the structure functions correctly, we can restore homeostasis and optimize our functions. Everything in our body moves and has a rhythm; osteopathy frees us and helps us regain harmony.
