Posturologist and physiotherapist specialized in sensory posturotherapy and regulation of the autonomic nervous system (ANS).
Carles Sánchez García, a passionate physiotherapist and posturologist with an unwavering commitment to the well-being of his patients. With over eleven years of experience in the field, his passion for human well-being and constant pursuit of knowledge have led him to a career where he discovers new ways every day to help people regain their vitality and quality of life.
His journey began in 2011 when he earned a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Girona. Since then, his quest for knowledge has not ceased. In 2016, his interest in posturology led him to obtain a Master’s in Clinical Posturology from the University of Barcelona and to delve into the potential of Neurosensory Posturotherapy for pain modulation.
Currently, he is immersed in specialized training on the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and its treatment, a dimension he has discovered has a profound and often underestimated impact on people’s health and well-being.
Posturology is an interdisciplinary field that studies the relationship between body posture and systems such as the nervous, musculoskeletal, and sensory systems. It focuses on how the body maintains balance and position, considering factors such as vision, the sensory system, and the vestibular system. Posturologists assess imbalances in these systems to design personalized treatments that address postural and health issues.
The Autonomic Nervous System is like the conductor of the body, controlling automatic processes that we rarely take into account, such as heart rate, breathing, and digestion. It has two main components: the sympathetic system and the parasympathetic system. When these systems are in balance, our body functions harmoniously, but imbalances can lead to a variety of health problems, from chronic stress to gastrointestinal disorders.
His commitment to continuous improvement leads him to explore and understand how to influence the Autonomic Nervous System (SNA) for the benefit of his patients. The SNA can be a powerful tool for addressing chronic pain, improving organ function, and restoring quality of life. Through specific therapeutic techniques and approaches, he helps regulate this system and provides relief on both a physical and emotional level.
His therapeutic approach focuses on manual therapy, postural regulation, functional reeducation, and education. His specialization in Posturology allows him to comprehensively address postural imbalances and their implications for health. With over eleven years of experience, he has developed skills that go beyond technique, cultivating empathy, communication skills, and a deep understanding of his patients needs. His mission goes beyond the application of techniques: it involves understanding people, collaborating in their recovery process, and providing them with the necessary tools to improve their well-being. This creates a proactive, cooperative, and solution-oriented approach.
